Having uploaded our first draft of the film, we decided that we needed to insert additional sound, because there were large parts of the trailer that had no audio, making the sequence very disjointed and difficult to understand. We knew that we wanted to include a sound track, so we began the process by searching for royalty free music that would suit the genre of the film. We used the website 'freesound.org' and selected multiple soundtracks that we felt would work in the trailer. The music we were looking for needed to build the tension in the trailer, with the level of sound gradually increasing to indicate the suspense present in the trailer; as well as this we also required a less intense piece of music that would be located at the beginning of the trailer to accompany the conversation between the two characters; we had the idea of using a calm piece of music, maybe including a piano as it would be slightly sombre and therefore would foreshadow the future events of the trailer.
We found both of these pieces of music and inserted them into the trailer, however we still felt that the end of the trailer needed more sound to indicate the climax of the disruption. We continued to look for royalty free sound, and food two piece of music that gradually increases into a cruscendo; we over layed these on top of each other and it helped to create a big ending that increased the tension and the suspense.
