When we were planning our film trailer, we knew that we wanted to include a voiceover as there were sections in the trailer that lacked some audio featuring, however we were unsure on what it was that we wanted the voiceover to say, so we made the decision to create the monologue one we had edited as we may have inspiration on what we want to include. Once this time came, we discussed what it was that we wanted the monologue to portray, and came to the conclusion that we anted to represent both positive and negative connotations about love and relationships. The positive sections will show the audience that the protagonist is in a happy relationship, while the negative sections will foreshadow the future bad events and a disruption to the narrative.
We created the voice over on an online website that places the monologue into the form of a script so the actress could easily read the monologue without confusion. When recording the voiceover, we ensured that we did this in a sound proof room so that there was no background noise that may interfere with the recording. As originally planned, when editing we cut the voice clips into sections that would be split across the trailer, as we didn't want all the audio in one section.
